Hi All,

How's business fairing lately, are you all still busy?

Did anyone see the TV Programme - Greatest Cities in the World the other day - it featured New York and profiled two window cleaners who cleaned a building with abseiling equipment - this building was 30 floors high !!!! - I felt dizzy watching it - it would have to be serious money to get me up there doing that. I suppose with the size of the building as it were it's all they are used to. I imaging it's a constantly rolling project - as soon as one sides done you'll move onto the other.

What's the highest building you clean or have done in the past where you've been up there as opposed to WFP's on the ground??

Ive been busy mark, thankfully. Although im not out today as its just too wet, dont have any wet weather work today either unfortunately. Didn't see that programme, was it on bbc? Could maybe catch up with it on iplayer. The highest i ever worked at on ladders was 3 floors, approx 30 feet! I did not feel too comfortable at that either, so it was the last and only time id ever do that. Far too risky, no matter how much they pay you!!!!! What about yourself mark, you doing plenty?

No, it was on ITV - it was Griff Rhys Jones presenting, no doubt will be repeated on ITV3 or ITV4 a million times no doubt!! 3 floors sounds about 2 floors too high for me JD - you did well to get to that hight !! There's not a chance I could've done what they were doing - 3o floors !! We've been busy so all good here, glad you are too !!

Been away to my caravan which is on the shore next to loch fine.
WAS very busy before i went on holiday.
On the subject of heights regularly went above 30 feet to clean windows used to climb on to the rooftops to clean skylights!!!
Looking back cant believe i cleaned windows at dizzy heights.
Thank goodness for the wfp system.
