Were not much better here at the moment! It wouldnt really matter if the weather was great here anyway, as my van is of the road , im getting my gearbox sorted out! Ive had a few problems with my van since i bought it in November. Ive warned the Citroen people, that if i breakdown again, then im demanding a new vehicle. They never answered me, they just gave a nervous little laugh!

Hi Both,

Come nice here in Yorkshire, weekend apparently going to be ok too, (but not holding my breath).

Sounds like fun you're having JD with the Van, nothing more frustrating than a car/van that is constantly causing problems !!

Hope you get it sorted, otherwise those Citroen people are going to have their work cut out !!

Got van back yesterday fellas, fingers crossed thats the end of it. Back to work as normal on Monday. Although the weather is supposed to be wet again here on Monday. I take the forecast with a pinch of salt though these days, as they get it so wrong, so often.

Weather over the Bank Holiday not brilliant up North, it was raining one minute, not so bad the other - couldn't really do anything but never mind.

Typical today though, back to work - the Sun is shining and not a cloud in the sky !!

Have you guys noticed how quickly it's getting dark at night now?? Not long now before the C word - can taste the Turkey and all the trimmings already !!

On tenterhooks at the moment also as my wife is due to give birth in about 2/3 weeks time - will keep you posted as to how it progresses !!

Have you Fish4fun/JD got any kiddies ??

No kids, im stress free thankfully. Lots of nephews & nieces though, but i can give them back to their mum when it suits. The dark nights are rolling in alright, although i dont really mind the winter nights, its always nice to see a different season. I know we have a lot of rain, just like you fellas in Scotland, but i think we have the best climate in the world. I always get a roll of the eyes from people, when i say that.....

If we had it to warm there would be a lot of moaning and complaining,if we had less rain which seems to fall in august in scotland.
Global warming who are these scientists kidding...

Houseful of woman - ouch, mind you, I have a little girl at the moment!!

Don't know what we are having this time around, booked in for hospital though on 25th September so not long now.

Wait JD til you can't give them back - that's when it gets manic !!

I don't mind our weather, apart from the snow - that's the only type of weather I really don't like - not bothered by anything else - quite like the rain in a weird sort of way !!

Hi Fish4fun,

Weather not too good down in Huddersfield, last week the temperatures were dropping to minus 10, had snow again yesterday (Sunday), snowing again today, buses cancelled and no gritters have been out at all so conditions on the roads a bit of a nightmare.

I take it you've wrote the last couple of weeks off?
